This is a standard Android warningthat appears for ALL third-party keyboards (including Gboard alternatives like SwiftKey). Here's what you need to know:
What Our Keyboard DOES NOT Do:
- ❌ We do NOT transmit your keystrokes to any server
- ❌ We do NOT log or store what you type
- ❌ We do NOT collect passwords or credit card numbers
- ❌ We do NOT track your conversations
- ❌ We do NOT make network calls during typing
How Typing Suggestions Work:
- ✅ Suggestions are computed 100% locally on your device
- ✅ Your typing patterns stay on your phone and are never uploaded
- ✅ Our suggestion engine has built-in filters to never learn credit cards, emails, phone numbers, or URLs
- ✅ Network requests are ONLY made to fetch meme content, never for typed text
Security Measures:
- 🔒 Sensitive data patterns (credit cards, emails, etc.) are automatically excluded from learning
- 🔒 All meme API requests use HTTPS encryption
- 🔒 No persistent storage of user input
✨ AI Rephrase Feature
Our keyboard includes an AI-powered rephrase tool. Here is how your data is handled when using this feature:
- Data sent to AI: Selected text is sent to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) for the sole purpose of generating rephrased text.
- No logging / retention: We do not store or log the text you type. Only the selected text for rephrasing is processed and immediately discarded after use.
- Third-party services: We use OpenAI as a data processor.
- User control / opt-out: You can choose not to use the rephrase feature at any time.
- Data security: All requests to the AI service are encrypted and processed via our backend. Your text never leaves our secure server for third-party processing without your explicit rephrase request.
